POJECT DESCRIPTION
Our client delivers industry-leading research and analysis on global energy commodities and macro markets. Founded in 2012 it is now retained by some 500 companies to provide indispensable insights that help guide trading and investment decisions, analysis that dives deep into fundamentals and reacts to market events. Extensive databases to flesh out clients’ forecasts and drive models.
Our technology team is delivering multiple projects, including a new data platform, a specialized oil tracking application, and a new infrastructure and platform approach. We are also continuously improving existing systems to provide modern user friendly experience.
As a Excell Add-in Developer you will build an Excel add-in that interacts with objects in Excel by using the Office JavaScript API.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Develop an Excel add-in that utilizes the Office JavaScript API to interact with Excel objects - build the Add In that will wrap client's Data API;
- Collaborate with the technology team on various projects to integrate the add-in with existing and new systems;
- Ensure the add-in provides a seamless and modern user experience;
- Continuously improve and update the add-in based on user feedback and technological advancements;
- Interact with Excel objects, read and write Excel data;
- Add custom functions;
- Be part of an agile, interdisciplinary team;
- Deliver technical expertise with high quality.
IF YOU ARE:
- Professional experience in JavaScript, HTML and CSS;
- Experience building an Excel add-in that interacts with objects in Excel by using the Office JavaScript API;
- Familiarity with the Office JavaScript APIs;
- Upper Intermediate English Level.
Contract Type: 6-12 months project.
