Weld Health is a UK-based marketplace platform designed to connect users with local wellness, fitness, and lifestyle professionals — from personal trainers to dietitians and health coaches. As the demand for digital-first wellness services surged, Weld aimed to create an intuitive mobile platform that makes it easy to discover, book, and engage with providers based on location and availability. Focused on accessibility and user experience, Weld empowers individuals to find personalized wellbeing services exactly when and where they need them.

The Starting Point

Weld Health aimed to build a mobile-first platform that connects users with wellness providers in real time. However, the initial version of the app lacked usability and struggled with performance under load. The product needed to support core features like booking, planning, and user communication — all within a limited MVP delivery timeframe. To succeed, the platform had to be scalable, flexible, and intuitive enough to serve a wide user base from day one.

Kanban Method

We migrated the client’s system to the cloud using Databricks and Apache Spark, ensuring scalability and high-performance data processing.

A medallion architecture with bronze, silver, and gold layers was implemented to structure and optimize data flow.
