Project Overview
Our client is a product company focused on helping local businesses digitalize day-to-day operations without the cost and complexity of traditional POS systems. The platform was designed for independent shops, cafés, salons, food trucks, and multi-location small businesses that need a simple way to manage offerings, bookings, payments, notifications, and team access across mobile and web experiences.
The Challenge
The client needed to bring together the functionality of a POS system, order manager, booking flow, and payment terminal into one intuitive product for both merchants and their customers. The solution also had to support multi-shop operations, role-based permissions, Tap to Pay capabilities, payouts, real-time notifications, and frictionless guest interactions across iOS, Android, admin web, and guest web. On the engineering side, the team had to solve native Adyen SDK integration in React Native, design a multi-tenant architecture, and support merchant payout functionality in a scalable way.
